For those of you who might wonder whether this is my real name, the answer is "Sorta." It turns out that my real name is very popular online—if you search it, you get hundreds of hits, even a 17th century Scottish lord. That doesn't do it for an author working to establish himself.
I'm very excited to have published my first two books, The Conscripted Extremist and Attacking the Dragon. They're about... well it's easiest just to tell you how the books' back covers describe them (please click on the Books tab above).
I'm working on two other books which I'm looking to publish in the near future—one in the world of corporate deals and intrigue, the other involving philosophical and religious issues. They are both thrillers with lots of action, a mix of the real world, a dash of what I hope you'll think is humor and conniving villains. I'm also working to make a limited episode streaming series based on The Conscripted Extremist. I'll keep you posted.
I live with my wife in New York City. I've always meant to write novels but took a long while to get to it. I've often appeared as an expert guest on television in both the United States and China, have published many articles and have lectured extensively in both countries. I also once was the Co-Co-Host on The Conan O'Brien Show!
